Before I get started on my issues, are these phones supported by Trixbox? I know in the settings it says IP 301, but are they the same phone?

I cannot get outbound calling to work, but inbound calling is currently working. Any help would be appreciated as I am totally new to all this. Thank you very much!

You did not tell us much

You did not tell us much about what you are trying to do.

The 300 is not supported by the Endpoint Manager and I am fairly sure it is too old to install the firmware that is in our repository.

If you are configuring the phone manually none of this matters. As you already have it receiving calls the phone is registered properly so you problem has to be in the phones dial plans or the routing configuration on your server.

Can I configure the phones

Can I configure the phones manually and still use trixbox?

I am trying to make incoming and outgoing phone calls.....

Where can I find my phone's default dialing plans? I am basically just using the dial plans that "voicepulse" gave me.

I also added the updated firmware through the TFTBOOT and that turned out fine and is working, except for outgoing calls. I played around with the trixbox too much I think when I first installed it and now I am going to do a fresh install.

If you're interested you can remote into my box?

Well I just did a re-install

Well I just did a re-install trixbox. Still the same issue. I don't understand that i can receive calls but I can't make calls. My dial plans are setup exactly how voice pulse tells me to! I can't believe this.

First of all, I don't setup

First of all, I don't setup servers for people for free. If you want to IM me we can come up with an agreeable rate and I am sure I can get you up and running in a few minutes.

If you tell use what you are doing and include some logs when you try and dial a call I am sure we can help you in the support forum.

cquinndesign - One of the

cquinndesign -

One of the keys to success with any open source package is searching the Internet for information that people such as myself have provided to help you. If you searched "asterisk logs" on Google you would have found the default log location is /var/log/asterisk and the log is contained in files named full.*

If you read the thread in our help forum entitled "We are not dentists, how to ask for help" you would find detailed information that would assist you.

You have not provided even the most basic of information as to how you setup the phone. Did you use setup-polycom? Is trixbox the DHCP server if not do you have your dhcp server providing option 66 boot server?

We need your outbound routes and the errors in the log from when a call fails.

You also asked if manual SIP is supported. Any SIP compliant device is supported to some degree in Asterisk. The trixbox distribution provided an endpoint manager to assist you in configuring phones.

Non-SIP devices are supported via custom extensions. This included h.323, SCCP, UNITSTIM etc.
