I have 12 Grandstream GXP 2020 handset and I need to setup distinctive rings for external and internal calls. My users can't tell if the call is coming from internal users or external users so they are missing calls.
Please help

In your inbound route, set

In your inbound route, set alert info to:
In the phone, Advanced Settings, custom ring tone 3, used if incoming caller ID is: and set this value to:
r3
(this matches the alert info above)
When a call comes in through that inbound route, it will play ring tone 3. You can define the others such as r1, r2, r3 to suit your needs.
You can get the ring tone generator from Grandstreams site to make custom ring tones if you don't like the current tones.
If you google the alert info string I provided above, you should find a fuller description that I learned from the first time I did it.
