ht-503 as a trunk

Hello
first thanks because I've already solved so many issues , just reading the forum. This time it's getting much harder for me with complicated settings of ht-503, which I'd like to use as outgoing (to fxo) and incoming trunk.
TRIXBOX TRUNK SETTING FOR HT503
Following some of the post I've found here I've configured a sip trunk for ht-503 in this way:
OUTGOING

username=503
type=peer&friend
secret=*****
port=5062
context=from-trunk
dtmfmode=rfc2833
canreinvite=no
host=192.168.1.85
nat=yes

at host I have the static address of ht503

left blank INCOMING AND REGISTRATION STRING

I've then done an outbound route using this trunk with this dial patterns:
00393z.
1z.
3z.
800.

ON THE HT-503
on basic settings I've done
Unconditional Call Forward to VOIP: 503@MYTRIXBOXIP : 5060

on FXO I've done mainly these settings
SIP Server: MYTRIXBOXIP
I've matched authentication
AC Termination Model = country based =Italy
Dial plan = {x+ }
Dial Plan Prefix: left empty
Wait for Dial-Tone: If set to no my pstn fxo carrier respond that the number I've dialed does not exist. If set to yes call goes out but not anymore in (from fxo to sip)
Stage Method = 1

on ht-503 statusI
i see fxo idle, not registered
sometimes after many reboot of trixbox and ht-503 i've managed to get some incoming calls from fxo, but usualy I get no answer from fxo
outgoing calls go out only if I leave Wait for Dial-Tone: yes

How I can configure this complicated box to pass all incoming fxo calls to trixbox and let sip users dial out the fxo ?

thanks so much

Osviweb, I'm not sure if

Osviweb,
I'm not sure if you already saw this or not, but check out a forum post I wrote on VoIPCoop.org a while back. Here is the link.

Thanks for your kind

Thanks for your kind reply

I've followed your guide and managed to have the ht-503 kind of working.
I have incoming calls and can use the outgoing trunk.

I have these two problems:

- the call on the pstn sounds "very far" very low volume, probabily a little echo and very difficoult to ear anything.
On FXO I've setup g729, pcmu, pcma as vocodec

- when the incoming call comes to my trixbox it does not follow the incoming routes (time condion -> group). It just ring the first available extension. I have Unconditional Call Forward to VOIP: 305@192.168.1.** :5060 and 305 does not exist yet as extension on trixbox (should I create it?)

do you have please some suggestions to solve these?

Also in the trunk it does not work if I set the host to dynamic. I have to write the ht-503 ip to have it working
thanks again

Does anyone have suggestions

Does anyone have suggestions for these issues?
In particular for the very low volume issue on ht-503 I'm having very big troubles.

It's like a wave the volume starts low and goes to zero volume than comes back a bit and mute again. Like a very far conversation.
My trixbox works just fine in any other sip trunk but with ht-503 the volume is ver low.
I've tried already to:

But maximum gain on 503.
Used codec pcma / pcmu on fxp
I have my country tones

I've changed my adsl line filter for pstn and tried with no adsl connected.
I've tried to call pstn fxo on ht 503 from many different sources.

I cannot find a solution for low volume on ht-503 trunk
