I'm trying to figure out what good the line appearances are on these phones. Am I missing something or are they only good for multiple trunks or extensions? I only have one trunk setup and was hoping that I could use those keys for some features like call pick-up or parking. I know how to setup those features on the keys along the lower right, but I like having some hard speed dials.
Line appearances on gxp 2020
I have wondered the same thing about the GXP2010's. It would be nice if the line buttons could be programmed just like the other BLF/Speed Dial keys.
I'm curious, what is the reason someone would buy the GXP2020 over the GXP2010 unless they had a need for lots of lines/account registrations? The GXP2010 has more BLF/spd dials, still 4 lines, yet less expensive. Just wondering if the GXP2020 has some other features not found in the 2010.
The GXP-2020 has a larger screen and 4 softkey buttons instead of 3. For someone who is good with XML and could program the softkeys for specialized needs, then the GXP-2020 might be a good purchase. I only install 2010's and 1200's when I have a customer that is going with grandstream. Everyone likes more buttons!

Do you really? (no irony--well, just a little little bit...).
No, honestly, are you getting positive results with GS phones? They used to mean serious trouble and/or losing a customer (unless you replaced them with something different, quickly *and* at your expense ;) ).
That's too bad, since a lot of the features were cool (lots of buttons, lots of codecs, affordable price etc). Did they improve to the point where you can actually make a successful installation *and* keep your customer happy?
