Despite everybody saying that localization doesn`t work using the SIP firmware on a 7975...IT IS WORKING!
My shiny Cisco speaks German now ;-)

Here`s the link.

Problem is, you need one of the old td-sip.jar-files, which are not provided by Cisco anymore.
Of course, it`s intentional...

Hmmm, I tried to immitate what you did on a 7975G (fantastic phone must I say!), but I can't get it to work...

in my SEP.mac.cnf.xml I have:

Dutch_Netherlands

nl

UTF-8

and in my TPTD-log I see:
Serving Dutch_Netherlands/td-sip.jar to 192.168.1.120:49155 (I also had a copy of the td-sip.jar file in my archive...)

Any Ideas???
Is there an overview of lang-codes available perhaps???

Where can I get the td-sip.jar file ? I checked the whole Cisco website (also the old CME-locale archives for ver. 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2)
Anywhere on Rapidshare, a blog or something.. ?

PS. I am also looking for the Dutch / NL.

Kind regards,
