The folks at http://www.unlimitel.ca/ have a little modual they have written to provision Aastra phones before they send them out to their customers to go with their Trixbox PBXs.
I think they are doing some fine tuning but hope to submit it into Trixbox for inclusion in FreePBX. They demo'd it at Toronto Asterisk Users Group and it both looks easy to use and really helpful. I wish it was available when I started with Trixbox and the Aastra phones.
If they do not submit it in a while I will try to follow up with them.
