Is there a way via the UI or an XML script to remap the HOLD button to an XML script or something else?

Sorry, there is no way to do

Sorry, there is no way to do that.

The next release (2.3.0) will introduce some more key to xml script remapping options, but this doesn't include the hold key.

Remapping standard keys

Gareth:

OK, then can you please add this to our wish list for either 2.4.0 or 2.5.0. This way we can remap the HOLD button to execute the PARK XLM script and leave a soft key open instead of telling our customers to ignore that button and push this button instead.

Thanks.

Remapping keys

What I would like to see as far as key remapping on the 9133i/9143i is have the Callers List, Directory, Save, Delete buttons become programmable key buttons.

A more far fetched wish would be to add the redial button to that list, and have the last number redial function work by pushing the line button twice (just like a Nortel M2616).

Remapping standard keys

If I lived in a perfect world, this is what I would like to see:

1. Every key on the phone have the ability to be reprogrammed to do something else, even the dialing keys.

2. Update the cordless phone so they utilize all the power on the desk phone. I would even go so far as to add a larger screen and add six softkeys (three on each side) to the cordless phone that is fully programmable including XML coding.

Just my thoughts...
