HUDlite client won't connect
I don't know where to begin with this, so I'll jump right in.
I just installed the TBM-Hudadmin package after seeing all the rave reviews about it. (Interesting to note-- after I installed it, "tbm-hudadmin" disappeared from the packages screen.) I installed the client on one workstation, and followed the setup instructions for it. Doesn't connect. I used HUDlite Admin through the TB console and changed the passwords (it correctly found all of my extensions) and still doesn't connect. I restarted the TB server and tried, then restarted just the HUD server, still no go.
Is there anyplace that lists troubleshooting steps? All I see in the client setup is the server address, port, password, and extension name and password. In the Hudlite Admin tool the only options there are extensions, passwords, cellphone & email addresses. No other configurable options.
I just don't know where to start troubleshooting.
Hi...I've just had this problem.
Check that the IRCD service is running. If not start it then restart the hudlite-server..It solved my problem :)
Jon
It wasn't. Thanks for telling me. It was disabled previously for troubleshooting purposes on another problem, and I didn't know what the HUD server's dependencies are.
I have the same problem.
I am not yet so familiar with all this, where can I enable this ircd feature ?

[edit]: I found the solution. the hud-admin was an old beta 1.1.0
