Re: HudLite Connected but not working

I had this problem too but there was problem with the passwords. I fixed it and then it was ok. Still some extensions didn't show their status. The problem was with the extensions themselves that they were not registering to Trixbox.

I could think of ircd not working. But if ircd doesn't work, I think then you can't connect to the server at all. But anyways, check on command prompt 'yum info ircd-relay' to see if it is installed. Do 'service ircd start' to start it if it is not started. if not installed, do 'yum install ircd-hybrid-7.2.1-1.i386' to install it, or download its rpm from somewhere on the Internet and do 'rpm –i ircd-hybrid-7.2.1-1.i386'.

Re: HudLite Connected but not working

I'm having the exact same problems. HudLite connects to server, lists all extensions, I can chat and email but the status of all extensions are disabled
(Grey Phone icon with a red X on top).

Server running:
TrixBox v2.0.0 ©2007
hudlite-server.i386 hudlite-server backend for HUDlite 1.4.6
tbm-hudadmin.noarch tbm - HUD admin 1.1.0

Clients running:
Windows XP SP2
All firewalls are OFF
All Anti-virus OFF
all clients running on the same network as the server segment 192.168.7.x
Hudlite version v1.1.160

services:
ircd running
hudlite-server running

Can someone help?

Thank you

Re: HudLite Connected but not working

Tragically, I'm experiencing the same affect. I've installed the HUD server according to Kerry's HOWTO and installed the HUDlite. I've got registered Extensions & when I run HUDlite, no affect. Just Grey area in the extensions field, no Blocks no nothing. Shoud I re-Install the Hud Server?

One Note, my Endpoints are Not created through Endpoint Manager, I've configured them on my own. They're taking and making calls just can't coorelate them with HUDlite.

Please asssit.

Re: HudLite Connected but not working

Maybe its fixed in new version of HUD, but I had this problem if I had qualify set to yes in the extensions settings. In latest versions of FreePBX they did it so that all new extensions would have qualify=yes, whereas earlier ever since A@H it has always been qualify=no. So this qualify=yes gave me this problem and I had to do all extensions qualify=no manually.

Now everything works fine with qualify=yes. I guess they've fixed whatever problems were there with FreePBX and HUD.

Good to hear it. The new server sould fix all the problems. Always use qualify=yes in your extension config. This is how HUD knows when your extension is off-line.
