HUDlite won't perform number lookup on https URL

The most recent HUDlite client for Windows XP will not send an HTTPS URL to perform a contact lookup.

My Asterisk server is listening on 443 for SugarCRM, so to perform a lookup is: https://127.0.0.1/crm/number_search.php?number=7275551212

However, specifying that url using HTTPS in HUDlite will only redirect to http://127.0.0.1/crm/number_search.php in the browser, never to the HTTPS url.

I have tried with both IE and Firefox as the default browser, it's a bug in HUDlite.
