Re: Install Hudlite Server

You need to edit /etc/asterisk/hud/users.xml and add your users then you should be able to connect without any problem. Hope this helps.

Re: Install Hudlite Server

My users are already in /etc/asterisk/hud/users.xml.

Re: Install Hudlite Server

OK, the upgrade recreated my users.xml with new login and password information.

All working now.

Re: Install Hudlite Server

you will need to recreate your users in trixbox 2.0. Follow this install doc.

http://yum.trixbox.org/centos/4/RPMS/repodata/repoview/hudlite-se...

Re: Install Hudlite Server

I have this same problem after trying to reinstall HudLite. However the users are setup and I can't see HudLite admin in the drop down in the GUI anymore?

Doesn't show as being installed anymore and I am unable to re-install it.

Any other suggestions?

Re: Install Hudlite Server

I am having the same problem. I removed hudlite-server using the package manager on Trixbox 2.0. I then tried reinstalling it and get the following error:

Running Transaction
0:shutting down hudlite-server...
error reading information on service hudlite-server: No such file or directory
error: %pre(hudlite-server-1.4.6-2.i386) scriptlet failed, exit status 1
error: install: %pre scriptlet failed (2), skipping hudlite-server-1.4.6-2

I then tried installing with yum and by downloading the rpm. I get the same error each time. It seems like the install script requires hudlite to already be installed. Does anyone know how I can get this to work without reinstalling Trixbox?

thanks!

I could copy his entire post, cause i get the same error report exept from my version is 1-4-25-1:

I am not able to run service hudlite-server stop/start/restart
I can see outbound calls on my client, but always as unknown number.
I cannot see hudlite admin in the asterisk menu.

Dead for me also, upgraded

Dead for me also, upgraded to trixbox 2.2 hudlite registers to server but there are no status updates at all. Trixbox show hudlite server as unknown. there is no /etc/init.d/hudlite-server

Getting the same exact error when trying to uninstall reinistall via both yum and the package manager.

Hud is 100% useless at this point.

Hudlite install failed

Followed the install instructions to a T. See the hud admin in the Asterisk pulldown but when I try to access it I get

HUD Client

Hi

I tried to install the server and it seems to work (according to the trixbox admin page). Then I wanted to download the client and install it, but here is the problem:

Where do I find the HUD client. Not on Fonality homepage. Can someone please help me?

Thanks!
Erik

btw, I installed the server via command line: install-hudlite beacuse it was impossible to do it via the web interface (trixbox dont find any packages)...
