outbound misdn calls does show *unknown* called number

I use misdn to receive and place outbound calls; for incoming call, callerid number is shown, it works like a charm; for outbound calls, instead, i see *unknow* what ever number i call out; calling other sip phones, instead, does show extension called, but only after peer peak up, not during ring as well, as i configured

have i missed anything?
