Please be advised.....
Since there is not difference in the rpm names of the 1.4.x and 1.2.x series in the yum repositories, we need to remove asteisk1.4 and rename it.
Please wait 36hrs from the time of this post (March 22, 2007 6:20PST) before you do any updates or installs of asterisk.
