HUDlite on trixbox CE

Hello,
recognize some problems with my HUD LITE.
it fails to connect on every computer.
No changes where made on the computer/s
becaus it fails on all I guess it must be a trixbox issue.
But no one touched the last 6 weeks the trixbox settings . Have Trixbox.Ver-. 2.6.2.3

What i also tried:
I tried the update on HUD Lite, but this one runs up to 16% and tahn it stops and no further info like window messgae etc. Just the "Not connected HUD LITE.

Uninstalled HUD Lite, after reinstalling it had already the old settings in. Update the same after 16%.

Anybody know more, what could help .. THANKS

Hi,
I need a way to let my users know who is on the phone and who is free to take calls.
From reading the forums I gather that HUD3 and HUDlite do not work with trixbox 2.8.

Also my Flash Operator Panel (FOP) doesn't seem to work. When the extensions are in use the FOP buttons don't change. Nor can I seem to drag extensions to conferences. I've read that this is due to updates in the latest versions of Adobe Flash.

I've tried installing FOP2, but since I'm very new to linux I broke my trixbox install. Luckily I'm only working on a test box.

I've just rebuilt the trixbox and was about to install isymphony server and the freePBX admin module.

We are fine paying for a solution that works.

Anyone out there have a recomendation?

I am testing HUD lite with Trixbox 2.6.x for a client and we found an issue that we can't resolve.

When their CRM application issues a TAPI command to dial, what appears on the phone isn't the phone number being dialed, but the name and extension that's dialing out like X712.

Is there a way to configure HUDlite so when it dials it shows the outgoing phone number and not the extension?

The call logs are all correct, it's just the information that's on the HUD screen and the phone that we want to change.

I have hudlite server package installed and the client installed and connected, i just cannot seem to get it to dial anything the only feature that is working for me is the chat. everything else is not working i can right click on an extension and choose the option to call but nothing happens. I have already tried adding #include extensions_hud.conf in the sip.config but then removed it after it didn't work, i also unchecked the prepend 9 option in the dialing settings. any other ideas that can help me resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.

Was looking at the log because trixbox was slow some hacker was trying to register as a remote extension, fixed that. Also noticed this in the log. I installed hud and the admin to check it out and later deleted it as it was not useful for me. Guess it didn't work as this message keeps coming about every six seconds. How do I get rid of it ? I know it say's hud pro but I was playing with hud light. The one client on a PC has been unintalled as well.

Hello Folks,

We are having a strange problem on some of our HUDLITE and Trixbox CE installations. Most of the time hudlite is dropping the call status and sometimes it is not even updating the call status on extensions. This is a very strange problem because it is not happening on old releases of Trixbox CE (for example 2.0). We are having this problem on all setups with Trixbox CE 2.6. If you experience the same problem and resolved it; please let me know.

Other than by hand editing users.xml, is there any way to keep HUDLite from displaying all extensions?

In my installation, there are extensions (management, mostly) which shouldn't be seen in the HUDLite display. I like the automated generation of users.xml in the Trixbox UI, but would love a switch that says "Don't add to users.xml".

I'm hoping there is a setting in there somewhere so I don't have to hand edit users.xml every time I add or delete an extension.

I have around 200 machines that I need to install the HUDlite client on. Is it possible to push this out remotely? If so, what command switches would I need? Ideally, I would like to push this out using our software deployment software.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
